Hi my name is Ashley Hibbs! I am a senior at Texas A&M University graduating in May! I wanted to share how I got this internship and why it is important to just talk to people! My friend got asked to go to an open house for a wedding venue in Montgomery county and was told to bring a friend so I got to tag along. Once we got there, vendors were set up all around the venue. My friend was there to meet a wedding coordinator and being with her, I got introduced as well. We ended up talking for a while and I mentioned that I needed an internship as a part of my coursework at A&M. She told me that her business has been growing faster than expected and she needed extra help and had thought about offering internships. Fast forward a couple months later, my friend and I are her first interns at Wed & Prosper.
